Summery Gradient
Today I have a simple, summery gradient to show you! I didn't use tape, so it's not very precise, but the overall look is still fun and makes me think of summer. The slight waves in the lines is a happily helpful to the design, since I think it makes it more free and summery :) It's definitely an easy way to brighten up some summer nail designs, even if you haven't much experience in nail art! The colors are shimmery and perfect for combining, as they are from the same Color Club summer collection. I would invite you to try this technique for yourself!
[The colors used in this design are Color Club "Wing Fling" (pink), "Sparkle and Soar" (orange), and "Daisy Does It" (yellow).]
Hope you like it! Thanks for visiting! :)

Black and White and Rainbow Dots, Oh My!
This is a mani I did a few months ago, but I didn't have the presence of mind to use my camera to take pictures, so they are cellphone quality... I really like the rainbow and the bright colors against the simple backgrounds. To me, the white one looks like Twister! But I have to say the brights on the black are more appealing to me. And, strangely, they are the ones I did with my left hand! If I were to do these again, I would probably do both the same color scheme (and I would choose the black!) Who knows... maybe you might see something similar soon :) What do you think about all the dots? Would you wear it? Hope you like them!
[There are so many colors in this design... Email me if you really want to know a specific color and I'll try my best! The bases are OPI "Alpine Snow" (white) and OPI "Black Onyx" (black).]

Review: ciaté Caviar Manicure!
Hello! I hope you're having a good day :)
Today I have some pictures of the caviar manicure that was fairly popular a little while ago. I was SUPER excited to get my hands on this new 3D nail art tool. However, I have to say the results were both dismal and disappointing. I followed the instructions to the best of my abilities, and I was happy with the initial results. They were a bit unwieldy and I was afraid to touch anything at first. However, after maybe an hour or two, the little pearls began to fall off randomly, coming unstuck from the base polish. Throughout the next couple days, I lost the remaining pearls, and later found them everywhere! It boasts on the back that it will last up to 48 hours, while I'm sure mine lasted hardly longer than 48 minutes! I really enjoyed having the sprinkle-like pearls on my nails while it lasted, and I think it could be a good look for a fun one-night party or event, but definitely not for longer wear. Have you tried these? What do you think?

Grad Nails!
These are the nails I did for graduation! We all wore white dresses for the ceremony, and I wanted something shiny and spectacular, yet not too obvious and bright! So I started with three coats of Essie "Marshmallow," which is a sheer white polish, added a layer of Nubar "2010," a layer of Sally Hansen "Glass Slipper," and a thicker layer of Cirque "XX" glitter polish! After all that, I added one more coat of Marshmallow, applied a coat of holographic top coat Pixie's Polish "Spectraflair Top Coat," and some trusty Seche Vite. Then, with some nail glue I added the little silver hearts! I think these were the perfect accompaniment to my dress, and it was a great day! Congrats to the Class of 2013! :D

Nude and Lace Designs
HI :D
So here is a nude and lace design, which sounds a little racy, but looks very feminine and sweet! I know the lace designs aren't perfect from nail to nail, but when you see them all together, you can't really tell... which is what makes them perfect accompaniment to a summery white dress! (Believe you me, I'm no fashion consultant, but I think they would look cute together!) Also, I don't know if these can even be called lace, because they remind me more of a henna pattern or a doily or a tablecloth of something... But the little gems are, well, little gems if you catch my drift, and I always enjoy a little bit of 3D texture to spice up any nail art design :)
[The colors used in this design are Deborah Lippmann "Naked" (nude) and Orly Instant Artist in white.]

Tribal Print!
Heyy :)
So today I have my first attempt at a tribal design to share with you! I think it came out okay, but it was very time consuming and challenging, and I think I will definitely try again to see if it will come out better! I know a lot of artists have done amazing tribal prints, and I wanted to try my hand at some of them (literally-- haha) so I chose to do a mix of different designs from ones I had seen and imagined. I used a bright array of colors, and I think there are pleasing to look at from a distance, but up close it's easy to see they're not perfect. Oh well. What do you think?
[The colors I used in this mani are OPI "Alpine Snow" (white), Orly Instant Artist in black, GOSH "Lambada" (red), Sinful Colors "Why Not" (blue), Color Club "Psychedelic Scene" (orange), and China Glaze "Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" (yellow).]

Black and White Stripes and Dots
Hi :)
For today, I have a black and white stripe-y design that was inspired by a tribal print from Jane at Nailside. I hope you enjoy it!
You may have noticed the one green stripe on my thumb... That is actually a small, cut piece of grass that I thought would look super awesome and be naturally beautiful, but it turned out a little short of that... or a lot. The nail polish quickly ate a hole in it and it peeled off within a matter of hours... Also, the little linear indentations didn't lend themselves easily to painting designs. Well, every experiment yields a result, and with this one, I would say natural items should probably be left outside!
Grass aside, I really like this design, though it definitely took a lot of concentration and time. It almost looks like an optical illusion with the black and white together (and some of my unintentionally diagonal lines). I think its definitely an eye catcher and fun to wear. What do you think?
[The polishes used in this design are OPI "Alpine Snow" (white) and OPI "Black Onyx" (black).]

Leopard Print Skittle
This is a skittle mani with semi-rainbow colors and a black and white leopard print! As you can tell, my nails were very long a few months ago! I definitely got some inspiration from Chalkboard Nails (she is the queen of leopard print!). I like the simplicity of black and white with the wild colors, and overall the design wasn't very difficult and didn't take too long for my first attempt! I think everyone can achieve this look and should try it :) I hope you like it!
[The colors used here were Essie "Secret Story" (pink), OPI "On the Same Paige" (orange), OPI "Hot Fun in the Summer-Lime" (green), OPI "What's With the Cattitude?" (light blue), and OPI "Do You Lilac It?" (purple). The black and white are, of course, the trusty OPI "Alpine Snow" and "Black Onyx." All cremes, and all beauties!]

Blue and Silver Leopard Print and Studs!
Hello and velcome :)
I would like to present to you: my prom nails! I was searching through designs and I found this one, by Very Emily, that inspired me! I had also recently got these studs in the mail from Amazon, as I wanted to use them for my prom nail design, and they were the perfect size (to fit nicely on my left hand nails)... I made a few adjustments on her design to make it more similar to my navy blue dress and my silver accessories. (Actually, let's be honest, the accessories were planned around the nails, not vice versa.) Also, please excuse the mess around the edges-- I didn't want to risk anything with acetone, so I cleaned it up later! Anyway, I love the way these look and I think they are sufficiently eye-catching for a special night! What do you think?
[In case you're curious, I used the blue jelly polish Orly "Royal Navy" and the silver foil-finish polish from Zoya, "Trixie". The black is OPI "Black Onyx," the best black creme I have found so far.]
